Vintners Logistics warehouse is a state-of-the-art facility in Kennewick, WA. This 160,000 square foot facility was constructed with phenol-free products specifically to handle the demanding requirements of specialty products such as wine, confectionaries, pharmaceuticals, dry goods and industry suppliers. Our campus includes secure, temperature and humidity controlled, inventory tracked, food grade, contamination-free warehousing and distribution.

The warehouse is a federal and state bonded wine warehouse. The facility is registered and regularly inspected by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA). We hold certifications from the FDA, and WSDA. Vintners Logistics is the first wine/confection/pharmaceutical logistics provider to achieve these certifications and accreditations.

SmartWay Certification is based on performance metrics and environmental standards established by the EPA. So, you must meet certain criteria in these areas:

Fuel efficiency: Use fuel-efficient equipment, vehicles, and implement strategies to improve fuel economy, which include optimizing routes and reducing idle time.

Carbon footprint: Track greenhouse emissions and reduce carbon footprint by using low-emission vehicles and minimizing fuel consumption.

Freight efficiency: Optimize freight operations to reduce waste and improve efficiency by, for example, reducing empty miles and avoiding traffic bottleneck routes.

Environmental responsibility: Be responsible for the environment through sustainable practices, reducing waste, and minimizing environmental impact.

The EPA then evaluates this data and assigns a score. The highest scores get SmartWay certified.

Vintners Logistics has implemented wine industry-leading cleaning and sanitation processes to ensure that our warehouse is a TCA-free environment. The facility is cleaned with customer-approved products.

Fleet and trailer sanitation is a likewise imperative process meticulously adhered to. High pressure steam systems are just one of the processes used to ensure we uphold the highest sanitation standards we are known for.

Vintners Logistics trucks and trailers are often able to drive by highway weigh stations without stopping. Due to our excellent safety record, we have NORPASS transponders installed in our trucks. This is part of the voluntary North American Preclearance and Safety System enabling our drivers to transmit their truck's legal weight, safety rating, and credentials to authorities.

To further ensure load safety, we have equipped our fleet with air scales to help drivers legally distribute their load weight. If a driver has any concern regarding the weight of a load, Vintners Logistics will pay for a certified scale weight in order to meet legal requirements and ensure truck, driver and load safety.
